Chief Financial Officer

Kent Prestage moved from Melfort, Saskatchewan to Lethbridge, Alberta in 1975 and took a job with a major Agricultural Company where he moved up in various Management positions. After 16 years the company sent Kent back to school to get a postsecondary education in Business, majoring in Management Accounting.

Kent spent the next 13 years as the CFO of a midsized company. He went on to teach Business Accounting and Payroll at a business college, where he is still teaching on a part-time basis.

On the political side Kent got involved in politics and ran a local campaign for the Reform Party as the campaign manager. He went on to run a total of four federal EDA campaigns for the Alliance and Conservative Parties and worked at the MP constituency office for 5 years.  

Kent was also a candidate for the Wild Rose Party in two elections and has served on EDA boards both federally and provincially.  

Kent has been married to Donna for 43 years has two children and five grandchildren loves to camp in the great outdoors of Alberta and BC and builds furniture in his shop as a hobby.
