A few details to note regarding the convention:
Our inaugural convention will be hosted on the Zoom Webinar platform. Specific details about how to log into the meeting and vote will be sent to you upon successful completion of your registration and 24 hours prior to the convention starting.
You must have a valid membership to participate in the convention. If your membership has expired, you can renew HERE.
The primary purpose of MAVERICK Party’s founding convention is for delegates to consider and confirm their support for our party's formation, existence and direction.
Delegates will be asked to vote on our proposed party constitution, including our bylaws, mission statement, guiding principles and Board of Directors, and our policy platform.
Our policy platform was developed in collaboration with party members, EDA Board members, candidates, Maverick Party Board members, policy experts, best industry practices, and the Alberta Fair Deal panel recommendations.
In addition, the MAVERICK Party has also proposed five AMENDMENTS to Canada's CONSTITUTION which we have presented to the federal government, MPs and Senators and will continue to advocate for as part of our “SAVE CANADA" approach. This has been done at the same time as we continue to grow support for more western autonomy from Ottawa, and the potential independence of Western Canada.
