Travis Olson, Director

Travis Olson was born and raised in Athabasca Alberta. After graduating from Olds College with an Ag Business degree he joined the 100-year-old family cattle business. Ole Farms now raises the largest herd of registered Angus Genetics in Canada with over 1200 head. Travis’s skills at marketing and customer relations has made Ole Farms one of the most trusted and respected brands in the marketplace.

Seeing the lack of regard the PC government had for rural landowner property rights Travis ran twice provincially as a candidate for the Wildrose Party (2012, 2015). He has served multiple terms on the Wildrose Provincial Executive, most recently as the VP of Communications before the party was amalgamated into the UCP.

Travis co-chaired Brian Jeans' successful Leadership bid in 2015 and is the founder of Alberta's Farm Voice which organized massive rallies opposing the Alberta NDP Bill 6 (...Farm Worker' Act)

Married for 11 years Travis is the proud father of twin daughters. He enjoys coaching youth basketball and volunteering with 4-H in his spare time.
